Boat Slips Offering Quick Access

Cove Sound Moorings' protected harbor offers quick access to open water.

Through Longboat Pass, enjoy the open waters of the Gulf of Mexico.

Cruise south on the ICW and stop at the restaurants on Longboat Key.

Head north on the ICW toward the open waters of Tampa Bay and enjoy visits to Egemont Key, St. Petersburg, and Tampa.

Our Marina

Cove Sound Moorings Marina, located on the ICW (Marker 50), is a private and quiet, non-live-aboard marina. It has wet slips, many of which are quite wide and can berth beamy boats, such as sail and power catamarans.

Our air-conditioned and heated, men's and women's "head" facilities are equipped with large showers and are professionally maintained at all times.

The slips at Cove Sound Moorings have 30-amp 110VAC electrical service. Dual 30-amp and 50-amp service is available in specific slip locations.

Fresh, "city" water is available to every slip. We do not use well water.

Some of our boat owners subscribe to DISH™ satellite TV and install the dish on one of the pilings. Contact the dockmaster if you would like to install a dish on your neighboring piling.

Cove Sound Moorings is not disturbed by commerical operations.

We are surrounded by what we call a "Florida Storm Fence," otherwise known as tall residential buildings! These attractive residential buildings block much of the wind that affects other local marinas. In addition, because we are located just minutes from the ICW, no long cruises are needed to get to open water, or the safety of our harbor.
